Food and Beverage Competition 2012

Dear Members,

The Trinidad Hotels Restaurants and Tourism Association is pleased to announce its Food and Beverage Competition 2012!

Our 2011 National Culinary Team did us proud at Taste of the Caribbean in June 2011, capturing the Gold Medal Caribbean Team of the Year, Best Rum and Vodka drinks; Most Creative Drink overall; Gold Medal in the Mystery Bar competition.

The competition will take place at the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute as follows:

The Chef, Junior Chef and Pastry Chef competitions will take place on Sunday 15th January 2012 Bartender competition will take place on Wednesday 18th January 2012

A briefing for all participants would take place on Monday 9th January 2012 at the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute, Airway Road, Chaguaramas. Time: 10.00a.m. - 12.00noon

We are looking forward to an exciting competition in 2012 where the skill and creativity of our chefs and bartenders will be on display to select the National Culinary Team which will represent Trinidad and Tobago at the Taste of the Caribbean competition to be held in Miami from 20th - 24th June 2012.
